What NOT To Do At The Library....

I must say, not only is Jodie a wonderful husband and a great dad, he also kindly gets himself into little situations just so I can have stuff to write about on my blog.  This little scenario happened to Jodie just the other day, and I personally found it very funny. 

Jodie gets off in the early afternoon, which means he can go and run errands if he needs to.  On this particular day he decided to go to the library.  I was still busy with school, so he came home, changed quickly, and headed off to the library.  As he was walking around the library he noticed he was getting a lot of strange looks.  Even a couple of dirty looks.  He kind of wondered why, but then thought maybe he was just being paranoid.  So he continued to browse.  After awhile he thought he'd go over to the children's section to get the boys some books.  A woman was reading books with her two little girls nearby.  As he browsed the children's books, the woman looked up at him, gave him a horrified look, and rushed her little girls away.  Jodie was really puzzled, but he just grabbed some books and checked out. 

When he got home he suddenly discovered the reason for all the looks.  His fly was wide open.  I mean, WIDE OPEN.  He was extremely embarrassed, but it was too late.  As he told me this story I could not stop laughing.  I am such a sympathetic person.

So, let this be a lesson to you.  Before you enter the library (or any public place, really), ALWAYS check your fly.  And, by the way, couldn't anyone have warned him?  A simple, "Hey, man, XYZ." would've done.
